About the Author

Belinda Chen grew up in a family run ceramic factory in Taiwan and now lives in Yorkshire. Bringing colourful and imaginative art into the world, Belinda is now a picture book maker, designer, printmaker and creator of Bel’s Art World. She has been published by Nosy Crow, Ladybird, Usborne, Quarto and OUP. Caryl Hart is an award-winning children’s author based in Sheffield. She runs creative literacy workshops for schools, libraries, communities and festivals. The Girl who Planted Trees won Teach Early Years Best Picture Book Award 2022 and was chosen as one of the best books of 2022 by the Children’s Laureate, Joseph Coelho.
