This book is a perfect book to learn from. As a non Māori speaking adult, this book explains what the words mean. I would also like to purchase the other book by the same author; The forest by night as some stage.
These books are beautifully written and have lovely messages about adapting to your circumstances, figuring things out, love, helping each other, and the environment. Also, there may be tears! They are wonderful for reading aloud to kids or grand-kids.
I got so much out of this book. The author brings a fresh, helpful and insightful way to thinking about and breaking down self- doubt and how to tackle it. I listened to it first on audio book(my usual reading method) but knew it was a keeper I would need to refer back to and go over again so bought myself the hard copy as well. Highly recommend.
Fantastic service, quality products. Extremely happy. Will use this service again

Few cosmetic dedects of the actual minis but other than that the actual game is cute and fun

I'm still yet to do the puzzle but it came highly recommended by a friend. I fell in love with it when I saw hers. Book Hero were super easy to deal with and my parcel came overnight as promised.
Loved this feel good book! Read it twice already. Such great plot twists!
Jayne Ann Krentz Harmony series is not for everyone. It's Science Fiction and all her Harmony series are set in a future world some 200+years after the curtain in space that allowed explorers and migrants to blast off to settle these worlds, suddenly closed. No more contact with Earth for trade and materials. Harmony is rich in all types of amber which is used to power vehicles, computers etc. Strange green alien ruined cities are all that is left until underground forests and other mysterious things are discovered. Almost everyone develops some sort of paranormal psychic talent. The only native animals that emerge from the underworld are dust bunnies some of whom choose a psychic bond between a them and a human.
Alice Radstone has strong powers that a manipulative mogul wishes to use. Some see her as a psychic vampire but Alice uses her powers to heal. Drugged, married to a stranger whose death within hours is blamed upon her, Alice is imprisoned in a locked ward in an asylum for the criminally insane. She escapes once her memory begins to return and goes back to Illusion Town where she used to work. Her companion is a dust bunny she named Sebastian.
The CEO of of a Forensic Psi-Genetics Consulting firm (Owen Marsh) contacts her and returns to the desert to the Strange Hotel of Dreams where all the strange events happened. Owen helps her figure out all that is at stake.
The mogul is playing for keeps and there is danger and menace on all sides.
Sebastian, the dust bunny, is real character whose humorous - and often disastrous antics to support Alice - brought a great deal of humour to the story. Dust bunnies get up to a great deal of mischief especially around food. Sebastian is a great pal for Alice.
The series is not serious Science fiction such as one finds in Dune and the books vary from light fun to more serious challenges. It's world has gangs, criminal enterprises and many differently-psychic enabled people who rise to meet the new discoveries and challenges the world of Harmony reveals.
I enjoy them but am acknowledged to "have a weird, zany, sense of humour
My wife and I purchased this game for our anniversary. Both of us are pretty new to modern board games and decided to try something modern. We were surprised at how well laid out the instructions and gameplay is. We have only played the first level of the game but it is so much fun!
The game is super easy to learn and pretty quick to play which is perfect for us. We even ended up 3d printing some additions to the game which is awesome. I definitely recommend the game to anyone looking for an easy to learn, quickish to play co-op game.
Highly recomend this to everybody. Can't wait for the rest of the series. I'm going to have to start getting all of the other books that she has writen. Damn, the expense.
It's really well made and so beautiful
No Prisoners is the latest novel by Ben Sanders under the pseudonym Ellis Blake. It's a neo-crime thriller that features anti-heroes and compromised protagonists.
Set just outside Albuquerque in harsh winter conditions, Hannah Lyon is racing against time and law enforcement to find her missing husband, Adam. Adam has already been gone for 5 weeks, and leading Detective Hunt is evading Hannah and shutting down her concerns. Hannah, feeling abandoned, starts her own investigation into Adam's disappearance, which uncovers dark secrets that implicate him and don't bode well for her.
This neo-crime genre is somewhat new to me, and I could definitely feel it with the characters' actions. Hannah kept destroying evidence, thinking she was being helpful, but it ultimately made me want to reach through the pages and give her a shake. Hunt was a dirty cop, but his actions also pushed him into a grey area of likeable as he was doing what he believed was right. It was definitely hard guessing who was the bad guy and who to root for while reading this. I certainly questioned whether Adam was genuinely worth saving.
This is a great read for those who love procedural crime novels and morally grey protagonists. This is not for anyone wanting a hea, as I don't think anyone from this book deserves one besides maybe Joel.
The best tonies, so glad bluey finally came to tonies
