About the Author
Morag Myerscough is one of the world's leading practitioners of public art. From schools and hospitals to cultural hubs and town centres, Morag transforms public spaces by creating engaging experiences for everyone - both through the structures themselves, and also by inviting local communities to join workshops that inform the public structure. Her visual approach is instantly recognisable and is rooted in creating a sense of joy and belonging for all who encounter it - a theme that is carried throughout Super Wonder Cities. Morag's commissions have included: Battersea Power Station, Brighton Festival, City of Stockholm, Design Museum, Coachella, Glastonbury, Steirischer Herbst in Austria, Matadero Madrid, City of Ballarat in Australia, and more. She has an honorary doctorate from UAL (University of Arts, London) and is an honorary fellow of RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects). She has also collaborated with labels such as Tatty Devine. She has 61,000 followers on Instagram. Morag was born in London and now lives just outside the city limits.
