Addressed to Greta is a captivating novel about Greta Jellings, a woman in her thirties trying to find her true self. Working in a pool-chemicals shop since school, her dreams have shrunk down to fit within the small cubicle of space that houses her desk, telephone, and a few photographs. That is, until Walter walks into the shopβ€”and into her life.

Greta instantly falls for him; but it will be some time before she learns that he is gay, and HIV positive. Despite her shock and disappointment, a close and liberating friendship develops between the two, and Greta ends up on a journey of a lifetime!

Addressed to Greta is an important story about allowing oneself to be seen in order to live a bigger life. It is also a testament to the transformative power of friendship.
