Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

The special relationship between a child and his grandmother is depicted in this sumptuous book by an award-winning team.

Inspired by memories of his childhood, Jordan Scott's My Baba’s Garden explores the sights, sounds, and smells experienced by a child spending time with their beloved grandmother, referred to as Baba. The narrative pays special attention to the moments they share while tending her garden, particularly when searching for worms to keep it healthy.

The child visits Baba every day, discovering her in the steam of boiling potatoes, a hand holding a beet, a leg opening a cupboard, an elbow closing the fridge, all while she hums like a night full of bugs as she cooks. This portrayal captures a ritualistic relationship with few words, deeply rooted in feeling and emotion.

Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?
