Book three in The Settlement series

Every man has his breaking point. Have they finally found Brad’s?

Following the attack on his home, war now consumes Brad’s every waking moment. Even his dreams are no longer a safe haven, and with each passing day it eats a little more of his soul.

The Settlement has suffered its darkest blow yet, but those who sought to destroy it underestimated the strength and resilience of its people, and the determination of those willing to sacrifice everything to protect freedom, justice and peace.

About the Author

Bruce Cole was born in Singapore as the son of a soldier who was based there. He lived in both New Zealand, and Australia and following his father’s footsteps, joined the military and was enlisted with the Australian Army. After discharging from the military, he discovered he had a passion for writing and decided to incorporate some of his experiences from the time he served into writing. Bruce currently splits his time between Little Wanganui on the Upper Buller of the West Coast and Nelson with his wife and two dogs.

Jen Hassloch was born in Nelson, spent her formative years exploring the top of the South Island of New Zealand and has a deep love for the New Zealand native bush environment. She found gaining employment as a newly graduated NZ Registered Nurse challenging, so packed up and went overseas. This proved to be a good move as she expanded her skills and knowledge with experience and qualifications in Critical Care and eventually Nurse education. She currently resides in Nelson with her family and continues to work in health where she advocates for improvements in the health and wellbeing of staff and patients.
