Description
The padded hardcover edition of Shape Up, Construction Trucks! published in September 2020 earned starred reviews from School Library Journal and Kirkus Reviews, and continues to sell steadily.
Part of our Toddler Tough imprint, this book promises a high-quality format with sturdy boards.
Includes a parental guide on the back cover with the following categories:
Learning Shapes: A foundation for later math concepts.
Rhyme & Rhythm: Encourage recitation, a first step to reading.
Motor Skills: Practice tracing shapes with a finger.
Family Reading Ages 1-3: Read together to foster learning development.
Perfect for fans of Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site.
Buyers who appreciated the enrichment activities at the end of Mies van Hout's From 1 to 10 will be glad to see similar back matter in this book.
This book combines a vehicle concept book with a shape concept book to make learning engaging for little ones who love big trucks.
It trains the developmentally appropriate ability to identify shapes in real-world images.
Full-colour photographs throughout with geometric shapes traced digitally on top.
The award-winning author has crafted a richer, more literary work than most concept books with rhyming text that toddlers will quickly learn and chant along.
