Secrets of the Omega Court

Secrets of the Omega Court by Katie McCarthy is first in an exciting new spicy Omegaverse "Why Choose" series that blends epic fantasy with the modern-day world, perfect for fans of Katee Robert and Jeneane O'Riley.

Once upon a time, the Varra escaped to our world, but their freedom came at a terrible price. Now, increasingly rare Alpha-bonded Omegas control the world's secret courts... but are these Omega Queens truly in control, or are they themselves captive?

Over two hundred years ago, omega, alpha, and beta Varra left their dying world and crossed the veil to bring their magic to Earth. There they formed their own secret communities in which the strongest courts ruled, while the humans remained oblivious to the strangers in their midst. But as time passed, their connection to their once-great power dwindled and now omegas are as vanishingly rare as they are desired.

Pre-med student Lucy Collins is perfectly happy with her boring beta life. Between hiding her healing magic from unsuspecting humans and fighting her inconvenient aversion to blood, Lucy has enough on her plate without worrying about the backstabbing, power-hungry alphas that make up the Midwest high court.

But when palace guards kidnap her to heal their dying omega, she doesn't have a choice. Lucy is tossed right into the middle of the scheming high-court packs, all of them wanting to use her magic to gain a toehold in the palace hierarchy... and straight into the path of Alpha Lincoln Aeon, presumptive heir to the ruling court, who sends her instincts haywire. And then, inconceivably, her first heat hits. Soon he's the only one she can trust as Lucy comes to grips with the fact that as a rare omega, she's not only the answer to the court's prayers... but also in the most desperate danger imaginable.
