Valiant meets his bride face to face!

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

With this volume, Foster reaches, by common critical consensus, the peak of his drawing and storytelling prowess—a peak at which he will remain for most of the run of Prince Valiant.

Almost the entirety of 1941's strips feature a single ten-month epic which sees Valiant on a globetrotting adventure fuelled by his obsessive search for Aleta, his bride-to-be—with stops in Jerusalem, the Arabic deserts and, inevitably, a harem which Val must infiltrate.

Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?

Starred Review from Publishers Weekly praises the volume's reproduction from pristine proofs, highlighting the crispness of Foster's glorious medieval swordplay and adventure. Dan Nadel notes how the series opens a world of early 20th-century fantasy filled with sincerity and wholesomeness, offering readers a rare and immersive pleasure.
