Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

The Fry Guys can’t wait to meet the dino nuggies in this laugh-out-loud early graphic novel for snack lovers of all ages who crave laughs and crispy comic chaos.

Long ago, fries and dino nuggies lived together in golden, crispy harmony—until the nuggies mysteriously vanished from the menu. But thanks to cutting-edge snack science, they’re back, and ready to rule the all-new Fry-assic Park!

Curly, Sweets, and Waffle are thrilled to meet these prehistoric legends, but not everyone is ready to welcome the nuggies with open cartons. Are these tasty newcomers a recipe for friendship or a deep-fried disaster?

Packed with puns, snack attacks, and fast-food fun, Meet the Dino Nuggies is a laugh-out-loud graphic novel that's perfect for reluctant readers and fans of Dog Man, Pizza and Taco, and Narwhal & Jelly.

This early reader graphic novel features:

  • Easy-to-follow comic panels and design for kids starting their graphic novel journey
  • Full-color art on every page, bringing the Fry Guys' crispy cartoon world to life
  • A Dyslexia-friendly font to support neurodivergent and neurotypical readers alike
  • Classroom-friendly content ideal for independent reading, lunchtime laughs, and family read-alouds
  • Snack puns, silly adventures, and a heartwarming message about friendship and embracing differences

Get ready for a side of spud-tacular fun with the Fry Guys and their new dino nugget friends. Betcha can't read just one!

Spud-tacular ... Using colours as emphatic as the frequent sound effects, Ho cranks up the temperature in simply drawn panels of fast-food action that, ultimately, hurtles headlong into a peaceable caramelisation and general celebrations of both differences and three new 'home fry heroes.' Readers will demand extra helpings. - Kirkus, for Fry Guys

With zany illustrations, clever wordplay, and laugh-out-loud storytelling, this graphic novel is exactly the right kind of good-humoured silliness for emerging readers who are just beginning to discover the fun of books. - School Library Journal, for Fry Guys

The memorable potato characters and hilarious antics make this perfect for kids just getting into reading comics independently. Betcha can't read just one! - Booklist, for Fry Guys
