Inda Ahmad Zahri is an author, illustrator, surgical doctor and scuba diver. She was inspired to create this book when her daughter said, 'What I love about numbers is that they go on and on and on forever.'

'Using simple language, Zahri skilfully links the boundless ocean with the infinite value of numbers ... The illustrations open with energetic scenes of the vibrant ocean waves, bright colours highlight sea life and coral, and a map and diagram of the water cycle support understanding.' About the Author

Inda Ahmad Zahri seems to always have a toe in one world and a pinkie in another. She trained as a surgical doctor, but now spends much of her time writing and illustrating stories for children. Originally from Kuala Lumpur, she now splits her time between her garden home in Meanjin/Brisbane and a sandy spot in the Middle East. Across her many worlds, however, is her enduring love of books, the ocean and Malaysian rice dishes. Inda is the author of several picture books including CBCA Notable Salih and Speech Pathology Award short-listed Night Lights. She is the author and illustrator of The Month that Makes the Year and How to Measure the Ocean. www.indabinda.com
