About the Author

Chas! Pangburn is an award-winning editor, writer, and letterer. He’s been fortunate to collaborate with publishers across the industry, but he found a forever home in Mad Cave. In his free time, a Shiba Inu bosses him around for long walks throughout Cincinnati, Ohio.

Kim Shearer has been a public educator since 2003, serving students as an English teacher and librarian. She was named the 2012 Kentucky Teacher of the Year. She resides in Kentucky with her husband, her two daughters, and her two rescue dogs, Elmer and Gordie.
