Description

Bila, a river cycle is a lyrical journey through Country that twists and turns like a mountain stream, written by award-winning Wiradjuri poet Jazz Money and brought to life through Matt Chun's exquisite hand-drawn illustrations.

What became of the river who rose up and called themself human?

Bila, a river cycle is a delightfully surprising tale of a river that walks from the mountains to the sea to learn more about the people who have polluted its waters. With themes of protest and caring for Country, Bila, a river cycle is a poetic and powerful call to protect the gift of water, always and together.
