From the Sunday Times bestselling author of the Plated Prisoner series phenomena comes the first book in an alluring and addictive romantasy duology set in a world of fae and dark magic.

Our world cracked open and with it, came the Banes. The powerful fae slayed them, but each left a Plague.

But that's not all they left.

I'm half Bane, half fae, and wholly hated.

When the Piper rids my city of the Plague, he takes our people as payment. Including me.

I have to get home. But the Piper won't let me go, and something wicked stirs between us.

I have to escape before it's too late. Because if I don't, it's not just my heart at risk...

But the entire world.
