A nostalgic jigsaw journey with a crazy coast-to-coast collage

Embrace a journey that spans the great cities of the US and Canada, with a surprise hop over the border to Tijuana. This collage captures diverse details such as road maps, gas stations, and road signs. Discover the variety of landscapes with cactus, redwoods, and palm trees, and encounter wildlife like moose, bears, deer, and eagles.

The imagery also includes iconic structures like the Golden Gate and Brooklyn Bridges. Dive into nostalgia with elements such as postcards, a copy of On the Road, hubcaps, car parts, and tools. Explore classic Americana with motels, billboards, drive-thrus, drive-ins, and diners.

Landmarks like Mount Rushmore, national parks, and battlefields are featured alongside playful touches like bikinis and sunglasses. Appreciate the natural beauty with state flowers and state birds.

The collage by Maria Rivans draws heavily from the 1950s, an era celebrated for its beautiful cars, colourful graphics, and the spirit of carefree driving. Road Trip! captures the essence of a bygone era through its vibrant and meticulously curated imagery.
