Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Keep Moving by Maggie Smith is a profoundly inspiring collection of essays and quotes that offers readers a beacon of hope amidst life's inevitable struggles. Conceived during a tumultuous period in Smith's life, the book draws from her personal journey through a painful divorce. What began as 'notes to self' shared on social media blossomed into a lifeline for many, resonating deeply with individuals experiencing their own transformations and challenges.

With eloquence and a touch of poetic grace, Smith guides readers through the complexities of starting anew. She explores the universal themes of loss, resilience, and rebirth, showing that new beginnings are opportunities for growth and recovery. Each page brims with empathy, positivity, and the firm assurance that it's possible to rebuild and find beauty again, no matter how shattered life may seem.

Like kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending broken ceramics with gold, Keep Moving celebrates the beauty and strength that can emerge from our scars. Smith's reflections encourage readers to embrace their imperfections and see them as part of their unique journey. This book is for anyone who has faced adversity and is asking, "What comes next?"

Keep Moving speaks to you like an encouraging friend reminding you that you can feel and survive deep loss, sink into life's deep beauty, and constantly make yourself new. – Glennon Doyle, bestselling author of Untamed

'Candid, lyrical and full of empathy, this is a book that feels vital and welcome in these times - for those who are struggling, or anyone just seeking joy.' – Sinead Gleeson, author of Constellations

'Maggie Smith writes so honestly without being brutal, and she shows readers hope while avoiding the saccharine. To experience relief from a book is a rare and wonderful thing. Keep Moving gave me that relief.' – Bella Mackie, author of Jog On

'I'm so grateful for the clarity, compassion, and wit in these pages. This is a book that will change you, a book you will want to give to someone you love. I've never read anything quite like it.' – Lucy Kalanithi, Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, Stanford University, and widow of Paul Kalanithi, author of When Breath Becomes Air

'I read this book in one sitting during one of the most difficult weeks of my life... Every single page of this book made me breathe a little deeper and feel a little less alone.' – Amanda Palmer

In Keep Moving, Maggie Smith gifts us with a sacred space to grieve, heal, and find joy again. Whether you're currently navigating the aftermath of loss or simply seeking a dose of inspiration, Smith’s compassionate words will help guide you towards a brighter tomorrow.
