Two countries. Two murders. A determined detective about to risk everything.

When two killings take place thousands of miles apart in Canada and Alaska, Detective Bernadette Callahan's instincts tell her there's a link.

But her superiors disagree, and they move to silence her.

Undeterred, Callahan delves deeper and finds an ally deep in rural Alaska. A fellow detective, also under pressure to close his inquiries. The pair are forced into the shadows to work, where they uncover unlikely suspects and a conspiracy linked to Alaska's billion-dollar oil supply.

Powerful forces will stop at nothing to stop the detectives. As they close in, Callahan realizes she is out of time.

Polar Bear Dawn is a page-turning crime thriller that will keep you guessing to the very end.

About the Author

Lyle Nicholson writes crime and mystery books you will find hard to put down. His first book in the series, Polar Bear Dawn, takes place in the high Arctic of Alaska in the unforgiving winter.
The series is based on Detective Bernadette Callahan, who readers love for her hard-nosed style, and failure to follow the rules. As a female detective, she is a phenomenon in Canada's Royal Canadian Mounted Police. You will enjoy her style as she solves crimes that will take you on a world journey.
