Description
What if our Earth was hollow?
Over a century ago, many believed in the Hollow Earth theory.
Against this backdrop, Edgar Rice Burroughs penned his subterranean masterpiece, At the Earth's Core. This re-release, authorised by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., contains all the joy of the original with language refreshed for this millennium's readers.
Plunge deep below the Earth's crust with David Innes in his first adventure in the land of Pellucidar, where he faces dangers under the never-setting molten sun. Whether it is your first visit or your tenth, you'll enjoy the vivid descriptions of a land where humans do not rule and all of Innes's emotions as he returns home without his love.
Edgar Rice Burroughs's visionary worldbuilding has inspired generations of authors, including foreword author Todd J. McCaffrey.
You'll be awed by this imaginative world from the author who launched a century of adventure fiction.
The journey into Earth's core awaits.
