Description
Little Crab, big dreams … and one very unexpected adventure.
Little Crab is tired of being small. She wants to be big, right now. But when one bold step towards growing up leads Little Crab to a bustling beach, she is swept far from home.
From one family to another, she’s whisked along in a dizzying, accidental adventure, until suddenly, she’s higher than she’s ever been before. Lost, frightened and far from everything she knows, Little Crab discovers that her small size might just be her greatest strength.
A heartwarming tale of growing up at your own pace, Little Crab reminds readers that even the tiniest among us can find their way home.

Danny went on to study graphic design and illustration at the University of South Australia and he now works as a picture book illustrator and occasional author. His books have won a number of awards including the CBCA Eve Pownall Award, the Environment Award for Children’s Literature, and The Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Award. Danny Lives in Adelaide with his partner, his 2 daughters and a sleepy old cat. And yes, he loves to read.
